Rocklin Board Approves Religious Law Firm Contract

In March 2022 the Rocklin school board signed approved a contract for legal services with Advocates for Faith and Freedom, a nonprofit law firm that believes “America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles” and that “traditional family structure” and “religious freedoms” are being eroded.
As many know, there is no such thing as “Judeo-Christian principles.” These are far-right talking points, much like “parental rights”, that are meant to evoke strong feelings against school districts in some religious citizens.
